Paulaner wheat beer is still the best-selling beer of its kind in the world. With products available in 74 countries across the globe, the Paulaner Brewery Group once again posted record sales last year with 2.9 million hectolitres of beer sold. Sales abroad increased in fiscal year 2012 by almost 10 per cent. This trend continued through the first quarter of 2013, with growth in important export countries like the US, Russia and Brazil continuing strongly. "The positive trend of recent years remains steady, and the foundations for another record year have been laid," said Markus Korte, head of international sales for Paulaner.

From late spring 2013, beer enthusiasts will be able to enjoy freshly brewed Paulaner and typical Bavarian lifestyle in the centre of the American metropolis - approximately 6,500 km as the crow flies from Paulaner's headquarters in Munich. Heart of the Bräuhaus, which covers more than 4,000 square metres, is its very own micro brewery, which is currently being shipped from Bavaria to New York City.
